Family Day at the Museum!

Family Day at the Eagle County History Museum

100 Fairgrounds Road, Eagle

Saturday, Aug. 2, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Bring the kids and join the Eagle County Historical Society for some hands-on-history on Saturday, Aug. 2, at our special family day at the museum.

This will be a special museum visit, with stations set up around the museum grounds where children can explore artifacts such as a mountain man’s beaver hide or a miner’s gold pan and assayer’s scale. They will learn how and why ice was harvested, the importance of railroads (explore our historic caboose), and  how pioneers made their own clothing. And they can also check out our player piano!

Drop by any time during this time period to participate. Plan at least an hour for the visit.

Cost is $3 per child, or $10 per family. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
